Here’s what’s been keeping me busy since the last blog post:
Number of diapers changed: >776
Number of loads of laundry: >32
Amount of spit up cleaned: A LOT. Srsly.
Number of MS’s I’ve critiqued for bloggy buddies: 2
Number of pages written: 9
Nights I’ve slept: 0
So, as you can see, I’m kinda in a losing battle … They say that the younger generation will be the best at technology, and I don’t doubt it. I mean, I swear my baby has a psychic connection to my computer. Every time I open up a Word Doc, he wakes up from his nap and starts crying. Every. Single. Time.
Oh the joys of motherhood…:) It's a good thing he is so cute!
I still have my money on you! There is a time and a place for everything, and its the baby's time now. Your writing time will come. π
Wow! That is a lot of diaper changes. I'm with DL. Your writing time will come. Thank you for continuing to keep us updated! π
I hope you get some sleep and writing time soon. π
Ohhhh! You poor thing… it's seriously so stinkin' hard! The novel I'm currently querying was written between the hours of 3 am and 6 am. <–No lie! Just remember to schedule your breakdowns, you'll feel better if you do! LOL.
Congrats on your beautiful baby – he is adorable! Hope he lets you have a little writing time soon!
All kids 4 and under come equipped with a mom-dar. The second you do something for yourself, something flashes in their brain and they go on auto-destruct mode. Mine actually tossed jello on the ceiling once. And I was out of the room for a grand total of 2 minutes. =P
Still, to have critiqued TWO manuscripts with the mom-dar going off? You're amazing!
